I chose to come to this program to learn, observe, and understand more about the arts as there is so to me see, try and explore. I want to see and do as much art as I can in this lifetime which is why I chose to join this program and community.

My name is Cassidy and I'm a junior at Abraham Lincoln high school. I really love music and scrapbooking or journaling. I'm really excited to be on the youth advisory board this year because yax is a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to having a bigger part in the program.

I’m Lina, I love photography and am a big fan of Modest Mouse. I joined the youth advisory board for a local art program because it lets me support creative opportunities for other students and have a voice in shaping something meaningful for our community.

My name is Oliver, I take animation at YAX and I love it because I get to express all of my ideas freely and being able to see my drawings come to life. I joined YAB because I am interested in gaining leadership skills.

Hi I'm Myla, I am passionate about art and its ability to empower people! My interest in YAB stems from wanting to be a leader. I have always loved art and how everyone can connect to it in their own ways no matter what form of art it is!
