Join resident artist Alyssa Aviles in celebrating the iconic street names of the Excelsior by learning how to screen print them on to paper, t-shirts and tote bags. This workshop is FREE, has materials provided and is open to all ages.

Alyssa Aviles is a visual artist and arts educator who received a BFA in Printmaking at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Working primarily in this medium, Alyssa explores the symbolic relationship between the graphic arts and her Latinx heritage. Alyssa’s work connects pre-colonial spirituality and cosmology to contemporary urban experiences through a metaphorical, mythological realm.
