Youth Art Exchange offers free year-round programming for San Francisco public high school students. All classes are free to attend, and several of our programs include stipends for participation.
Applications for 2017 summer internships are now open! Develop real art skills, learn how you can use the arts to have a positive impact in the community, gain job experience and walk away with some cash in your pocket. Join us for internships in Printmaking, Filmmaking, Traditional Percussion/Composition/Performance, or Architecture. Early enrollment is encouraged, as there are a limited number of open positions in each discipline.

FALL & SPRING
Each session, Youth Art Exchange offers visual, performing, and technical arts classes that meet multiple times each week, over the course of 13 weeks. Spring Session students participate in our annual Howth Street Block Party and showcase their work in a gallery show at Root Division; Fall Session culminates with the citywide San Francisco Youth Art Summit.
For the Summer Session, we offer 50 paid internships in the arts to public high school students in San Francisco. Interns receive professional experience in their medium and a stipend upon completion.
