Are you looking for an enriching and fun experience for your child in San Francisco? Youth Art Exchange’s Summer Program is designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and provide a safe space for kids to explore their talents while making new friends.
Held at our Balboa Park Location (2330 San Jose Avenue, San Francisco), our programs combine hands-on activities with outdoor fun, giving kids a chance to develop their skills and imagination in a vibrant, supportive environment.

Fun Themes Each Week
YAX Summer Art Camp is a 4-week hands-on summer art camp where creativity knows no bounds! Each week, young artists will explore a new theme, bringing their ideas to life through painting, sculpture, mixed media, and immersive craft projects.
🌿 Week 1 (June 23-27) – Build a Biome (Minecraft-Inspired)
Campers will design and construct their own imaginative worlds, crafting unique ecosystems and landscapes.
🐉 Week 2 – Mythical Creatures
From legendary beasts to magical habitats, kids will draw, sculpt, and create their own monster trading cards.
⏳ Week 3 (July 7-11) – Time Travelers
Journey through history and future worlds, making art inspired by ancient civilizations, futuristic cities, and everything in between!
🌊 Week 4 (July 14-18) – Underwater Explorers
Dive into ocean-inspired creativity, crafting marine creatures, coral reef scenes, and deep-sea adventures.
With small groups and dedicated teaching artists, our camp is a welcoming space where kids can experiment, collaborate, and bring their artistic visions to life!
