WE HAVE A VOICE: The 6th Annual San Francisco Youth Arts Summit

Join Youth Art Exchange and dozens of arts organizations from across the San Francisco Bay Area in a two day celebration of young artists using creativity to amplify their voices and power.

On Friday, December 2, 2016, SOMArts and YAX host a gallery preview, happy hour, and youth film festival. From 5–6PM, get a sneak peak at the visual, technical, and multimedia arts in the gallery, and enjoy a happy hour with wine and beer (21+), non-alcoholic drinks, and hors d’oeuvres. At 6PM, enjoy nachos and popcorn while being dazzled with a curated collection of youth-produced films on the big screen.

On Saturday, December 3, the gallery will come alive with dozens of exhibits showcasing the work of youth from around The Bay, interactive activities and art making, food and drink, photobooths, live music and DJs, and a performance competition. Catch the gallery shows and interactive activities from 1–3PM. From 3–5PM, the stage comes alive with performances – featuring music, theater, circus arts, spoken word, and more!

The 6th Annual San Francisco Youth Arts Summit is free and open to the public.
