About Dance

Dance creates a community of artists of varied perspectives. Students find their own personal relationship with dance through movement and choreography. Our young dancers draw from ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop and contemporary genres as they create and perform original choreography for audiences throughout the city. Our young dancers have performed at Carnaval, SOMArts, and community events in the OMI and Excelsior neighborhoods.
