For the rest of this week, we’ll be showcasing our different disciplines and the youth leaders and faculty artists behind them to show how our programs make our city BRIGHT! This is the launch of our 6-week campaign to raise the funds needed to finish our our program and fiscal year.
Donations from individuals like YOU are one of the most important ways that we are able to provide our high quality visual, performing, and technical arts programs FREE for San Francisco public high school students. We need you, our community of friends, followers, and supporters, to make our programming happen by sparking a shared creative practice between professional artists and public high school students, furthering youth as leaders, thinkers, and artists in San Francisco.
Each year, we are able to engage students, like Juliana, who would otherwise not be able to access the arts. Some students join Youth Art Exchange because they already identify as artists, some join for the snacks, and some join because they want to meet new friends. Yet they all emerge as more engaged youth who contribute to the civic and cultural landscape of San Francisco, making our city BRIGHT!
Please help us spread the word and our work!
